The spandex gives a bit of shape and tone to even the most untoned body. They have a modern look without being overly teenagish,and are comfortable to wear. In terms of sizing they run a bit small. I wear a size 18-20 in pants but with these I am most comfortable in a 3X. I wish Newport News would release more plus sized Shape Fx products.especially with lighter weight materials for summer.
